"The Abandoned Buildings are Alec Dowell and Mackenzie Ritchie. Born and bred in the wild north, they share a love of music with strong rhythms, complex harmonies, soaring solos and lyrics with virtue, meaning and just a pinch of humour.
They aspire to create songs you'll love to sing along with, and music that smacks off the first sip of beer after a long day at work. They've got guitars aplenty - sometimes, drums too - with a beat and a hook like an abusive boxer.
